is a hypothetical hospitality space based on the Danish furnishing brand, HAY. Staying true to the belief that “good design matters”, Hygge House is an extension of the brand that offers a look into the simplicity, functionality, and eleganced of the HAY culture. Inviting New Yorkers and travelers alike, to unwind from their busy, hustling life to implement the hygge way.



Balance is one of the key attributes throughout the identity system. To maintain the timeless and contemporary visuals of HAY, while adding on the coziness aspect of Hygge House to create a blend of a qualitative lifestyle.

The look book is categorized into 3 sections based on stay, connect, and create. From exploring the experience of Hygge House, to the Scandinavian origins of ‘hygge’, and lastly to the various collaborators that contributed designs throughout Hygge House.
Within HAY, the collaborators and designers are a huge part of their process, the mobile app is able to highlight the works of the designers as well as create a platform that can continue to exist even after visitors leave.
